Treasure House administers several outreach programs* for families in crisis. All families receiving assistance are low-income individuals, families and senior citizens.
- Backpack Outreach sends food home with children on the weekends from Camas schools so they will not go hungry.
- Emergency Rent Assistance outreach program is designed to keep families from being evicted and becoming homeless
- Utility Assistance to families who have had their utilities turned off. We help them get reconnected.
- A Person in Crisis outreach is for any person that finds him or herself in an emergency situation. The needs and requests vary.
- Back to School Program for low-income children in our community who cannot afford the tools they’ll need. We provide backpacks with school supplies and a clothing voucher for the Thrift Store.
- Christmas Gift Program is a seasonal outreach program that serves the low-income families in our community. We provide new gifts for the children and a holiday dinner for the whole family.
- Lost & Found Café we serve dinner every Tuesday and Thursday night to anyone in the community that is hungry.
Treasure House operates a nonprofit thrift store that is open to the public. We are able to fund our food and outreach programs with the funds earned in the thrift store.
