Secondhand Solutions is not your typical thrift store. In addition to offering unique goods, it serves as a training ground for homeless residents in our care. Having a positive learning environment where Open House residents gain job skills, work experience and self-confidence can help end the cycle of homelessness. And 100 percent of Secondhand Solutions’ proceeds benefit Open House Ministries.
Stop in and shop in a relaxed atmosphere with excellent customer service. We carry a good selection of quality used, some new and antique merchandise, including furniture, kitchenware, fine china, household items, books, decor, artwork, toys, electronics and more. In addition to great prices, something’s always half price with our color-tag pricing.
Our store is staffed with Open House residents and volunteers. If you would like to volunteer and work alongside our residents, please call Open House Ministries at 360-737-0300 and talk to our volunteer coordinator, Claudia Merritt. If you’re looking for a place to donate, please consider Open House Ministries. All donations go directly to a family in our shelter or are sold in our thrift store.
