The Matt Talbot Center (Mens/Womens Clinical Treatment Programs)

Seattle, WA

The Matt Talbot Center provides a shared path for those desiring to change their lives by becoming clean and sober in a way that addresses housing, other basic needs, and vocational goals while providing spiritual ministry. Our mission is to help restore participants to healthy lives, and to encourage them to take responsibility for their actions and family obligations. We work with our program members to provide individualized, holistic addiction recovery services and build a foundation from which they can remain engaged in their recoveries and move toward the futures they want for themselves. No one is turned away due to an inability to pay.

Specific Men and Women's Clinical Treatment Programs:
Women's Clinical Treatment Program
Women who have experienced addiction and homelessness are among the most vulnerable members of any community. Many women dealing with addiction and homelessness women suffer physical and sexual assault while on the streets. It is this population that the Matt Talbot Center’s Women’s Clinical Treatment Program is designed to assist. Our staff is specifically trained to provide care to women whose histories have included trauma in addition to addiction.

Men's Clinical Treatment Program
Many men seeking treatment for addiction at the Matt Talbot Center are homeless at the time they enter the program. Typically, the men seeking treatment may be experiencing significant depression or anxiety. It is not uncommon for male members to also need assistance with anger management. The Matt Talbot Center’s Men’s Clinical Treatment Program is designed to build a comprehensive treatment plan to assist male members with these issues.

Treatment is provided in three phases designed to be completed in one year. Phase I is an intensive, outpatient program lasting 120 days. Phase II is an outpatient program lasting four months. Phase III, the equivalent of aftercare, comprises the remaining four months.
